• Habitus short-oval, neither convex nor flattened
• The pronotum broad, sides curved in the basal part
• Elytra short, one and a half times as long as wide, more or less narrowed at the end
• Antennal club unicolorous
• 2nd antennomere shorter than the 3rd
• 8th antennomere not more than one-third or one-quarter of the length of the 9th
• Wingless
• Region of the elytral suture not depressed
• Penis short, narrowed in its apical portion, the apex triangular and symmetrical
• Male metatibiae straight
• Length 2.5-3.0 mm
